Fr. Mike is an ordained Catholic priest. He was certified as a professional chaplain with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC). He earned his doctorate degree in Philosophy of Religion and Education from Fordham University in 2018, specializing in the Catholic teaching on Solidarity as it relates to contemporary challenges in Catholic Religious education and global interrelations. Fr. Mike is interested in finding ways to bridge the intellectual gap between the developed world and the under developing world. Fr. Mike is affiliated with Project Educate Africa Inc. which has donated over 80,000 college textbooks to Nigerian university and seminary libraries. He has also worked in solidarity with hospitals to facilitate donation of useable medical equipment to local medical clinics in Nigeria. Fr. Mike joined SBUH in September, 2020. Prior to joining SBUH, Fr. Mike served for 14 years with Lourdes Medical System, now Virtua Health System.
